I'm from a small town and so traffic really isn't an issue there. However, I have driven in Madison many times througout the years and so I am used to having to change from small town driving to downtown big city driving.
I don't claim to be an expert in driving and traffic trends but there is one thing though I have been noticing lately that really seems to be causing a problem. At least once a week I witness an accident outside of Madison College Truax Campus. Now of course these accidents are never detrimental to the people involved but it definitely hurts economically to have to fix your car like that.
I just think people are in such a hurry to leave and get back to their busy lives that they drive too fast and without looking where they are going. But really in hopes to get home fast they crash and then need to wait for a police officer to arrive and all of that good stuff. These people end up being late for most everything because of them not being careful.
These accidents always involve students because these crashes happen just outside of the parking lot. I (knock on wood) have not been involved in a fender bender at school yet but it doesn't mean I haven't come close to getting hit there.
Help us all out and PLEASE just slow down..... I don't know about you but I really don't have the extra money to be throwing around on car parts and towing expenses especially with the holiday season fast approaching.
